| Locals tell the legend of "Chasca", the goddess of fisheries, beautiful princess who fell in love with Prince Acayet. Pachacuet, the father of the young princess, commanded to kill the suitor; Chasca disconsolate dissapeared in the deeps of Barra de Santiago. However, some nights she appears navigating in a white canoe, sign of good fishing. |
